Misty Lake, a photo from Quebec, Central

Photographer's Note

I took this picture at 5:30hrs, a misty morning. It was on a fishing trip i made with some friends. I found the mist on the lake superb and i wanted to share it. I tried earlier that day but the result was not very good. I didn't bring my tripod, earlier, i would have needed one.

I hope you will like it.

Cette photo a йtй prise vers 5:30 hrs du matin. C'йtais lors d'un voyage de pкche dans Charlevoix. La brume sur le lac ce matin lа m'enchantait. J'ai essayй d'autres photos plus tфt, mais les rйsultats n'йtait pas excellent. А cause de la semi-noirceur, j'aurais du me servir d'un tripod. Malheureusement je devais limiter mon matйriel.

Hi Martin.
I like this shot, it reminds me of all the great mornings I've had waking early to go fishing:) I would suggest cropping of a bit more of the sky as this will put a better emphazise on the Mist.

A great capture that only brings me good happy thoughts:)

Love it, the mist is so nice over the lake..and love your POV looking out at the old dock and the little boats tied to it.. nice reflections ...looks like its going to be a great day..hope you caught some fish! TFS

I do like the photo. It has a nice surreal quality. Nice POV with the depth that the wharf gives. Even if you never caught a fish, the photo was worth the trip. I created a WS, some slight adjustments, hope you like.

Bienvenue pour ce retour Martin
Charlevoix,quel endroit de rкve,non seulement pour le pкhceur et le photographe.
Belle composition avec le quai qui nous amиne vers le lac et la montagne.L'atmosphиre crйe par la brume est le point fort de ta photo. ainsi que la rйflexion de la montagne.
En espйrant que la pкche fыt bonne.
PS:je vois que tu as jumelй tes deux passions.

Trиs jolie composition ...
Le brouillard crйe une atmosphиre mystйrieuse sur le lac trиs bien rendue dans ta composition.
