Photographer's Note

I took this snap on a recent business trip to Ottawa. The flight was uneventful. Most people were sleeping, except for the woman in the middle seat in front of me and the woman in the seat behind. As you can see, the lady in the seat ahead was catching up on the news. I was playing with my camera. We were enjoying the time. The woman behind me, however, was terrified. Every once in a while, when we hit a bump, I'd hear her ask her travel mate to hold her hand. She would say things like, "I have an hour before I have to worry again." She meant she had an hour before she had to suffer through the descent and landing. At the conclusion of flight #675, the lady said: "I'm ok. We made it." More relieved than others, she collected her luggage and deplaned. For her, the most stressful part of the day was over.
