An overcast day made for nice diffused lighting. Mist lingering on the mountain, lots of green and the colour of the flowers make for a nice contrast I think.

very nice picture, the flower is very nice and adds to the dept of the image, giving a 3D effect. I see no purpose in commenting on the type of flower as "shoot score" did, this is not a botanist's site,. But , the scenery is interesting, colors and focus are good. good work thanks for posting.

May I respectfully suggest that these flowers are neither lupins nor purple...

If you can send me a close-up I shall identify the
flower...

But green and blue sure does it for me!

Hi Francis,
This is a nice colourful shot to say it was a miserable day, sometimes it good to take a photo after a downpour or after a misty day because it makes the colours even deeper when everything is damp, nice shot Francis.
