Photographer's Note

I took the photo of this camel in Abu Dhabi at Heritage Village. It had made a nice face when it saw that I would take a picture of him.
Camels were the most important transportation method in Abu Dhabi before petrol was found. After that more and more people living there replaced the camel with a car.
But those animals are continuing being used by the Bedouins living in the desert.
Camels can drink an high amount of water (200 liters) in about 15 minutes. What's more important: They can live in the desert without drinking water about ten days.
