The Saraзhane Bridge is known under many names: The Sultan's Bridge, Şahabettin Pasha Bridge, Sultan Mustafa Bridge or Horozlu Kцprь (Bridge with Roosters). It is an Ottoman bridge across the Tundzha River (Turkish: Tunca). The current name Saraзhane Bridge is taken from the Saraзhane district of Edirne on its east end.

The bridge was built in 1451 under the direction of Şahabettin Pasha, the Beylerbeyi of Rumeli in the court of Sultan Murad II (r. 1421–44, and then 1446–51). It is 120 m (390 ft) long and 5 m (16 ft) wide, with 11 piers and 12 arches. The bridge was repaired during the reign of Sultan Mustafa II in 1706.

Lep pogled i trenutak, dobar tekst ...
Lep deo starog mosta i zeleno drvece, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom, perspektivom i uhvacenim trenutkom sa oblacima koji dolaze i najavljuju promenu vremena.

The bridge is quite impressive, especially from this angle where we don't see how long it is. It seems to disappear in the sky. I like the rest stops too.

Very interesting series showing places I didn't see during my two short trips to Turkey.
The bridge leads the eye towards the dramatic sky in the background and also looks like it's inviting me for a walk!

Nice ancient bridge. The most photogenic is probably the rest stop. The weather was tough but You have well enhanced the clouds making them very dramatic and adding more interest.
