Photographer's Note
Turkey every period has been problems with freedom of thought. Ulucanlar prison, has been a meeting point for people who value freedom of thought because of punishment in prison.
this prison as a museum for today. I will introduce this week here. You should definitely visit if you go to Ankara. very impressive, thought-provoking place.

Hi Burak
This prison must be one of the murkiest chapters in local history to house many activists then and now a museum, a sad history but nice simple shot from you including the very brief narratives but good links, It's a kind of place that hides secrets no one will ever know about!! Great infor image, Congrats
Best regards

Hi Burak, interesting post, there aren't much prisons tranformed in a museum in the world and i never seen one. It could be nice to watch some pic too from the interiors but i don't know if you gone inside.Still a good capture of the entrance,i like it! Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

Hello Burak,
A fine capture of this place with a very dark history. Curious, the tree growing above the wall, standing like a sentinel above the entrance.

Gunaydin Burak,
Nice frontal view on the prison facade, with the Jeep park near its entrance. The fresh snow piles added fine contrast. a well lit photo.
have a nice sunday afternoon,

I like this image to go with the history of this place, the snow represents cold and the lighting dim. Good pov and nice details. Well done, tfs.

Selamlar Burak,
MT
