I said I would inform you about Third Bosphorus Bridge time to time. I took a picture of the bridge in January. almost two part to meet .
I said before I was not happy at all about this bridge. I can not tell you the harm to nature. , unfortunately, will not solve the istanbul traffic problem. many formal , real inhabitants of Istanbul do not want this bridge. but nevertheless .......

Hi Burak.For every new road work there are always discussions, who is in favor and who is against. The building itself is very impressive, environmentalists and local residents are opposed, while who benefits is definitely in favor. So it happens everywhere, I remember a few years ago when it was built the highway between Milan and Malpensa airport, passing by my village. Many discussions, many opposed, but now they use it all ... .. ehehe.. Thanks for share and have a nice Sunday,Luciano

Also in Turkey economic considerations seem to be considered more important than the environment ...
But the picture is absolutely wonderful.

Quel beau point de vue sur ce pont au loin. Il semble lйger comme une plume et aussi aйrien qu'une toile d'araignйe. On dirait qu'il manque une partie au centre.

the view is impressive and delightful, it's interesting to see the progress of the bridge but also to know your opinion about its utility and drawbacks. I guess same story has been repeated in many parts of the worls, Greece is certainly one of them. I like the solid diagonal in the foreground, the clarity and the delightful, natural colours of this view. The snow adds special interest. Congratulations and thank you!

Lovely wide view well composed with good balance giving a sense of scale and depth as the almost finish bridge draws the eyes. I don't think I can fault it, the bright lighting, colours contrast work fine with the clouds give it that lovely finishing touch. An excellent capture superbly done, Congrats. and TFS

Hi Burak,
thank you for sharing the picture illustrating the progress in bridge construction. Years later this will be especially interesting for all the people who will get used to the bridge.
I think I remember you showing a previous photo a while ago.
You can create a TrekEarth theme to collect all the related photos together.
Even though you say the bridge may not be welcome, this is an extraordinary photograph, I like as well how the scene is decorated with abundant snow. Funny thing you are in the south having so much snow while I have seen in England snow this season only once for half a day. Lovely sky as well adds a beautiful touch,

Your picture shows wonderful the bridge and the sea in background.
