Photographer's Note
An interesting daytrip from Sanliurfa can be made to Harran, combined with the incredibly ancient Paleolithic ruins of Göbekli Tepe, which date back to 9,500 BC! But seen here are the beehive adobe mud houses of Harran. You might be surprised how spacious they are inside, as they are arranged in a circle to give a spacious mini courtyard.
I have loaded an interior shot as a workshop to illustrate.

Hi Chris, these houses are surely more recently of ruins, and reminds a lot the houses of Matmata in Tunisia. In fact the interior offer great spaces, not easy to think watching this view,so your WS is very useful, perfect quality as usual. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hello Chris,
This peculiar buildings are fairly well known externally, but I can't recall seeing any interior before. So even though the main photo may be the most photogenic, partly thanks to the fine light, the WS is the most interesting for me.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Chris,
Incredible your interior picture with all the carpets, this is wonderful.
I think also the most best insulated houses out of the history.
Excellent composition, pleasant to look at.
Very well done, TFs.
Best regards,
John

Hello Chris,
I like the view of the beehive houses but it's especially the interior shot that surprises me the most.
Perhaps not the great luxury, but it seems quite cozy to live there. Very colourful interior.
And as you write, there is a lot more space than we would suspect from the outside.
I've seen similar houses in the north of Syria (in the vicinity of Aleppo) but have never been inside one.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Chris
Something very different today with these fascinating mud houses. The interior reminds me of the interiors of yurts in western Uzbekistan.
cheers

Hello Chris, your two pictures are very interesting. I cannot recall seeing these beehive houses from Turkey before.
I am assuming that this was part of a museum?
Excellent sharp shots.
I am surprised by the space inside the buildings.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Chris,
They are like the Tardis, bigger on the inside than the outside. Are these authentic or modern day reproductions?
Regards,
MT
