We were all excited, waiting for that moment, but...! What I realized is that Istanbul is not ready for such heavy snow and these weather conditions caused many accidents. Its beautiful when snowing, until it reaches the ground.

Nice note and very applicable too, I love to photo in the snow but I hate the drive home afterwards. Nonetheless this is a beautiful winter scene, the snow very obvious in the sky and the tower existing almost in a vignette. Very cool photo

Hi Sabo. Nice to see that you have dropped for a visit after so long. One day I would love to visit your beautiful country. How true about the snow in the city looks beautiful until it hits the ground and turns into a brown slush. You sound excited and you have captured this joy by your POV as you look up at the falling snow. Regards. Klaudio.
