The avenue Istiklal, Istiklal Caddesi in Turkish, literally Independence Avenue, formerly known as Grande Rue de Pera, is one of the most famous avenues in Istanbul, Turkey, visited by nearly 3 million people One day during the weekend. Located in the historic Beyoglu district, is an elegant pedestrian street, approximately three kilometers long, which houses exquisite boutiques, music stores, bookstores, art galleries, cinemas, theaters, libraries, cafes, pubs, nightclubs with live music, historical patisseries, chocolate shops and restaurants. The avenue, with a single Turkish architecture of the 19th century, starts from the neighborhood around the Genoese Galata Tower, which ultimately leads to the Taksim Square.

La premiиre chose que je suis avec toi, avec Josep, et tout le peuple turc dans ma sympathie et de la critique de ce nouvel attentat ...

Istiklal a йtй une grande rencontre sur mon chemin ... la couleur de sa vie et m'a rempli dиs le dйbut, le tramway qui traverse le milieu, il ya, basй sur la vie quotidienne en deux par un souvenir du passй, belle et romantique ... J'ai aimй ... et ainsi de fait une chanson appelйe "Istiklal Caddesi" que la plupart de vos belles photos ...

Bonjour Valйrie,
je vois que tu as prйsentй une photo du tramway nostalgique rouge d'Istiklal Caddesi, comme moi.
C'est une vraie icфne de la ville, trиs photogйnique par son antiquitй et sa couleur vivante rouge, de plus, puisqu'il circule а travers d'une rue principalement piйtonniиre, l'atmosphиre qu'il crйe est spйciale, avec une touche un peu vintage.
Une bonne photo, avec un bon cadrage dynamique.

There is so much character in this street, what a pleasure it is to see the photograph in your gallery. I see that you were there on 22 October. On 8 September, I walked the length of Istiklвl Caddesi from Taksim to the "Tunel," and back (my sister lives very close to Taksim). I am dropping a note to you separately. The link you gave is fabulous. I listened with nostalgia over and over.

dans qq jours nous aurons notre tramway а Angers...Pas sur qu'il soit aussi sympa et pittoresque que celui ci ..!!! Il contraste bien et pas uniquement par sa couleur avec la modernitй de la ville
