Photographer's Note
An unusual Seljuk Turk Mausoleum in Güzelsu standing in front of the Hoşap castle on the bg hilltop. Güzelsu was formerly known as Hoşap. The roof is prism shaped and the triangular walls accentuate the geometric effect.

Hello Chris,
I saw mausoleums with similar roofs near Van Castle, but they didn't have these unusual walls. Unfortunately I didn't get as far out of the city as this place. This mausoleum offered a superb photo opportunity with the impressive castle in the background. I like the good exposure and pleasant colours.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Chris
Good shot with the imposing mausoleum as a strong subject of interest packed by adequate details, shades of green and earthy tones. The castle frames the backdrop as a bonus point but it leaves a pleasing feel, Excellent take

Hello Chris,
This mausoleum is a very unusual, geometric shape! It looks as if buttresses have been incorporated into the design.
You have captured it sharply and set it neatly in front of the castle, obviously designed for a different purpose.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Chris,
Le cadrage serré met le château et le mausolée en évidence. la prise de vue permet de voir les détails du mausolée Seljuk Turk et du château. La lumière met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hello Chris,
A good capture of the mausoleum here in the foreground, it stands out really well with its warm tones from the slightly hazy castle in the background.

Hi Chris,
these two structure don't seem to go together.
The fortress on the top seems interesting the mausoleum less so, but it does make a good foreground for the composition.
Very well seen and captured,
M

chris
a curious aspect of this tomb. the prismatic conical roof is rare and we can see as solid it is, because it is made of clear stone. nice inclusion of the castle.
take care

Hello Chris,
Interesting shape for the mausoleum. I like your POV that makes the fortress seem to be rising out of it.
Regards,
MT
PS. changing the name of the place from Hoşap to Güzelsu is another attempt to erase history.
