Wish I were a fish in a bottle of raki, a photo from Ankara, Central Anatolia

The Asartepe Dam Lake is a small lake which is very popular among the fishing enthusiasts. I found quite interesting to see this empty bottle of Raki in the lake. It reminds me the overly popular Turkish poem by Orhan Veli Kanik saying "I wish I were a fish in a bottle of raki" (hence the title) that perfectly summarizes the passion of Turkish people for raki and fish.

so good to "see" you again!
This is a wonderful picture with a lovely title. There's amazing depth and superb sharpness and clarity all over the landscape. The bottle is very well placed in the frame and the composition, making a statement and then leading the glance to the beautiful tranquil landscape. How nicely you associated it with the poem adding new meaning to the picture. I love the great clarity, lovely colours and vivid textures, especially on the weeds on the right part. Lighting is marvellous. The reflections are intricate and delightful. Well done and thank you!

Beautiful photo and fitting title for this gorgeous shot. Excellent natural color saturation and light management with reflections from the BG hills. I like that the tips of the reeds are so pronounced, showing stunning clarity, both in FG and BG. Your POV as always are so lovely and very pleasing to view, great job and welcome back Suleyman!!
