Photographer's Note

a man may be coming from asia, exactly i do not know, is there for hajj( to be pilgrim).
On this mountain there is a cave where Prophet Mohammed received the message of Islam from the God (Allah, as a Muslim we call)

Muslims believe that the word of God was revealed to him by the archangel Gabriel , who said, "Recite in the name of thy Lord …" (Sura 96)in a cave in this mountain. these revelations were subsequently collected and codified as the Qur’an.

And the pilgrims visit the mountain and the cave, when they are in Makkah.

A very expressive portrait! the man's very disinterest for the camera makes the viewer wonder to what his mood was. it's a misterious photo and I like the effect of introducing the man into the landscape.

The pilgrimage is a true experience. It could help us see clearer through the mist of the world...
It can be a pilgrimage at Mecca or Lourdes. A voyage in Tibet, Meteora or Peru. Maybe it doesn't matter that much. It's important to make the first step and to keep on going.

Mьthis bir kompozisyon... Gercekten cok begendim... Bir kere harika bir derinlik ve bakis acisi... Daha sonra berrak, tertemiz bir S&B fotograf... Yasli adam, asagiya, sanki sonsuzluga dogru bakiyormus gibi... Tek bir sey, keske sag alt kцsedeki (sanirim) kaya parcasini kesebilseydin cok iyi olurdu...
