Photographer's Note
Catching my breath,
Enough with the running
This city has boxed me in
Giving me the illusion of freedom
I've been running for days
Escaping the walls of my sanity
The city wants me to call it a home
Giving me the illusion of freedom
I look at the clouds forming above
Little power lines cross my mind
Trees are reaching out from the pavement
Giving me the illusion of freedom
All the cars, shops, buildings, crowd
Can't all of us open our eyes and see?
We are all boxed in this city
And we can't break free

This is my new camera, the Canon 5D.
I'm really exited about it, and I think it will be a love story.
I will still keep using my Nikon D70 for Infra Red shots, and for a back up camera, but The "Full frame" monster is something I'be been planning on for a long time, and I finally did it.

Gilad
this is a very interesting picture. The colors are wonderful. How did you get such a result? The idea of shooting what seems to be the reflexion in a puddle is very well exploited. Did you post-processed your image ? Any technical tip welcome
Congratulations

Superb colors and details. I like the tilted composition, its a good combo with the square frame.

Great artistic shot! The tilt gives some nice diagonal lines, and the upside down view creates a different feeling that a straight up shot would have. Great saturated colour too. Well done!

Hi Gilad!
I see that you keep in playing and playing and playing! Great! ;)
In that all upside down photo, apart from the creative way to present it to us and the very interesting colors, I especially like the fact that the car is not reflected (no water there!), that we can see two lights, red and green, and the clouds that create an interesting pattern. Oh and yes! The note! ;)
Your 5D, a "love story"? You bet! Enjoy!!! And give us your jewels! ;)

Hello Gilad
You've chosen an interesting angle to capture the building and reflections. And upside down position of it completes the composition.
Perfect experiment! My congratulations!

Great photo, very impacting!... Your choice of turning the world upside down really makes sense, because this way we see the sky on the top. The photo tricks us, leaves us looking for the right interpretation.

Une photo à faire perdre la tête..... Un effet obtenu surprenant, un peu déstabilisant, mais très recherché.

Nice fiction, in the first place I couldn't recognise your picture was put upside down. Power of full frame does fine details.Congratulations.
