Photographer's Note
The engraving on the left wall of "All Nations Gateway", through which all the nobles & groups passed to enter the complex & be present at the New Year ( Spring ) Ceremonies.
It has the body of lion, wings of eagle, face of a Persian Soldier. ( the face is ruined now).
P.S. :about the colors : these are the real colors of persepolis' stones, the ochr colors are the result of diffrent film-developing.

Hello Fariba,
What an angle for this one, it seems that this horse was fossilized.
It is the body of the horse we saw last picture ?
The stylism is both realistic (the legs) and imaged (the little stone points which makes a stange shadow).
Bravo, et merci pour votre passion (partagée) de l'histoire et de l'architecture.

Yes Fariba - I would say, this must to be a bulls tail - so your right. A very nice old statue indeed - thanks for sharing.

Nice one. I like the angle you chose to take the picture from. Persepolis looks like a very nice historic place to visit.

These are fantastic places, but I am afraid I can never see them. Can women travel alone in your country?
