Photographer's Note
thanks for your critiques, first of all, let me apologize if the picture isn't so much clear.
but for my purpose, I didn't have a better one, then forgive me & read the explanation :
the oval-shaped "building"on the right is called "Yakh-chaal"which means refrigerator.in which people made ice & kept them until summer in old times.
Method :there were a big round whole on the base of this type of monument,10 inch. deep, in which they pourred water ,that turned into ice with the help of cold nights of desert.
how they "keep" the ice until summmer & during it ?
the spicial architecture of it, calculating shaddows of the walls, angle of sun-rays made the ground "stay" cold, so the ice wouldn't melt...

Ok - never mind the shot quality - its ok. Interesting notes - It realy surprice me to hear about ice in the desert. I can now understand why the victums from the earthquake needs blanket.
The same kind of old "Ice-houses" can be found in Denmark (not in use any more).
I will try to visit one (thanks for the idea)
Thanks for sharing and the notes.

This is another very interesting account from Bam, Fariba. I just learned something new from your note as I had never heard about those kind of "natural refrigerators" - a very ingenious concept. Thanks for continuing to keep the memory and awareness for Bam in everybody's mind here on TE.
