Naghsh Jahan Square is also known by the historical name of Shah Square and after the Iranian Revolution of 1978 with the official name of Imam Square, the central square of Isfahan, which is located in the heart of the historical complex of Naghsh Jahan. The historical monuments on the four sides of Naghsh Jahan Square include Aliaqapo, Shah Mosque (Imam Mosque), Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque and Qaisaria Gate, which is the main entrance of Isfahan Bazaar. In addition, there are two hundred two-story rooms around the square, which are generally the place of supply of Isfahan handicrafts.

Aali Qapo Palace
Aali Qapo Palace (original name Ala Qapi) is a building that was actually at the entrance of the Safavid state and at first had a simple shape, over time and during the reign of Shah Abbas, a class was added to it and during the reign of Shah Abbas II, a columned porch was added to it. This building is located on the west side of Naghsh Jahan Square and in front of Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque.

Hello Ali,
There is a lot of exciting atmosphere in this photo of the illuminated palace in the darkness. The photo is well composed and nicely exposed.
I will show this building in my next upload in a few days (I posted other photos today), but probably just as a workshop.

Hello Ali,
I remember the Naqsh-e Jahan Square from my visit of Iran in 1996. Also the Ālī Qāpū Palace.
But I don't remember seeing such horse-drawn carriages at the time.
In the distance we have a view of the dome of the Masjid-i-Shah.
I don't think the square was lined with trees then either. Maybe I'm wrong.

Hi Ali,
Very interesting place, I can see the thin columns supporting a heavy roof, similarly to another structure you presented on the other occasion.
Nice spot and the carriage adds a lovely touch as well.
May be a bot too dat, it would be more impressive captured slightly earlier with a bit brighter sky.
