Photographer's Note
1.Dialog among cultures:
the women are sisters, belong to " Qashqaii Mobile Tribe", the girl is the daughter of the right one.
the man is a " Turkman " ( not Turk...it's different, they live at north of Iran, near "Turkmanistan " )
2.the hats (?) are the Turkman's traditional costume, the women are wearing them for fun ( & for taking a pic as a memorial )
they are made of un-woven wool. ( I think )
the reason why the color is different, maybe the white one is only used by the chief, I forgot to ask.
3.they are standing in front of a typical Turkman Bower .
( it was " a group of exactly 4 people " for scavenger hunt no.4, but didn't know it'd finish before I upload this photo ! :-( )

Very nice portrait of tribe family. Soft, warm and charming expressions. Great one.

Another very nice picture of people, wearing great costumes. May I ask: the tent behind seem somewhat similar those of the Mongols. Is it?
The tent makes the picture more appealing as it shows the complete living environment.

Congratulation Fariba - No I don't think the hunt started yet - Great to watch these fine dresses and there poses - I thing this home, very much like the "urts" (tents) that can be found in mongolia - fine work - i like it.

Wow, what a great portrait Fariba! And what a beautiful return, the lighting is so soft, simply stunning. Not easy actually, noting that because of the harsh direct sun light you easily could have ended up with hard contrasts between the shadows and brightest parts. A great job, congrats!

A very fine portrait, Fariba. I love all the details in the clothing and the Bower that you provide and you again captured the expression of the Turkman and Qashqaii beautifully. Your fine note is essential. Very fine capture!

Hi Fariba. A nice shot of a very simple yet lovely theme. I do not know how they prefer to be looked. But I am sure they look quite contented as conveyed through their soft smiles. And I liked their looks. Well, about the hats I learnt so many things through your useful note. Hats off to you!.
