Happy 2015. Next year will always be better
I don’t think I’m going out on a limb in saying that the one thing we all have in common is that we want a better world next year than this. The desire for improvement – for making tomorrow better than today. As the days wind down in 2014, most of us look back with a mixture of pride and regret. We know we can do better. We thumb through the 2015 calendar with an abundance of hope. All those blank dates. Imagine the possibilities! If we can be more active, creative, diligent, loving, 2015 could be epic.All of us want a better world. That’s not just a New Year’s wish. By objective measurements, we are actually getting it.

Salam Mehrdad. I am glad that you have such an optimistic interpretation of our condition. I wonder what a person in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan... would say. Plus all this poor souls that are dying from ebola or those that have no food to give to their children or clean drinking water etc. For some of us that live in privileged environment, the world is getting better as more toys are created for our amusement.Anyway, I hope your prognosis is the true one and that THIS year will make a difference.
