Photographer's Note
Religous Mourning for the death of Imam Husayn ( The 3rd Shitte prophit ) in about 1400 years ago , who was killed by Yazid ben Moavieh ( The king of Arabs Fundimentalism ) with his 72 solidiers infront of Yazid army ( about 10,000 ) while they were kept thirsty for a while ...
After that the shitte muslims every year made military movement for his blood feedback & finaly played a big role in the Omavi kingdom down ... inspite of military movements the shittes every year for reminding his death in god way ( Shahid ) , mourn & cry for his braveness ... Still where ever there is a Shitte comunity , you can see them mourn for Imam Husayn after 1400 years ...
This picture is taken on the Shame Ghariban night when in Iran people light candles @ the night right after his death ( he was killed @ noon right after Azan ( muslim Canticle ) started )... This photo is not showing everything ... a friend of mine who is lighting a candle on his hand for respecting death of Imam Hussein ... I should mention that this is not a routine method of lighting candles for him & he is doing this every year as something to attract people & photographers ( SPECIALY GIRLS :) )...
Shahab.

You've taken a perfect shot, I'd like the total dark background.
Note is great & specially the last part makes it perfect!

Not only is the photo very well composed, with a perfect black surrounding the hand softly lit by the candles, but it also is a great illustration of the mourning of Imam Hussein: the almost burnt out candles echo the martyrdom, they evoke pain and sorrow (although you said that it actually doesn't hurt!).

nice shot the light amoung the darkness, likes remberand masterpiecs, just one thing, I wasnt in the scene but if your lens was wider and the space that subject take in the photo was smaller than now , the photo was more beautiful.
I hope you dont take these words badly

Salam Shahab;
What an amazing picture, truely capturing the "decisive moment". I like the lighting, the angle of view, and the position of the hand itself. Great picture
Be Blessed,
