Ah, the salivating mouths of amateur archaeologists all over the world who can't get to Iran... I guess we're all lucky and unlucky in more ways than one. Nice shot. Only one suggestion: try to post at full 800lpi resoution ;-)

A nice shot giving an overview of part of Persepolis. I'm curious what these structures are. I like the grid pattern the walls and column bases make. I just wish it were larger, as well. It's too small to really make out much detail. Nice perspective, though.

Very well done, color are perfect. History that can not be seen easyly, unfortunatly. But At least we have TE that help us to discover beauty of midle east without artifact.
I also agree with the other, a larger picture would be better. Thank you for sharing

Although it is small, this photo proves that Persepolis is a must see. But because of its smallness I cannot catch the details well. Do you have a bigger version of this and the following photos?

Pale light - I would prefer some foreground.
Since the famous terrace-wall was roofed some years ago (note some part of it on the right side of the picture), the view from the royal tombs has suffered a lot.

Very nice photo but I wish to be more big. I like ancient ruins and you know very well that in Greece everywhere you'll dig you find piece of our ancient and glorious history.

Hi Fariba
A very interesting subject!
This is definately a place i would like to visit one day.
A bigger size would have helped for us to see the details which look pretty sharp.
Regards
Harry
