Photographer's Note

A grey dawn on the east coast of Scotland. The view is slightly uphill with a sea-wall on the left, the houses facing out to sea. I waited for a while in case a figure would appear but no such luck at this time in the morning.

Very nice; it really captures that small hours feel. Love the hint of relection on the windows.

Really nice shot. The uphill view with the seafront on the left and the glow of daybreak in the east is very effective.

Greetings Dougie.
It is quite dark and I think that silhouette of the person would have been great. As is, I really like this shot. It is almost graphic in the B&W medium. The line of the fense giving the only real fine detail. I like the contrast between the light and dark, it reminds me of the Yin & Yang symbol.
