Photographer's Note
I encountered this facade when I took an unexpected detour down an alley and into this back street near the centre of Nottingham. I loved the location - thought of Izzet Keribar and waited for a passer by - I was lucky enough after one or three people to see this guy carring his plank of wood.
Thank you Izzet for being the fantastic photographer you are and reminding me to wait that little bit longer!

Hi Kev
Great capture. Difficult to understand too. I like the graphism and the man walking.
Nice work

a great compo Kev... I really like that.
It's always amazing to see old buildings shut up like this one.. To let..
You were right to wait for this guy. Great catch for me.

This fooled me a little. The tree in the top-left corner and the varying brightness accross the boards suggests reflection that isn't there. I had to look quite closely to see what was going on.
The light wood against the dark brick is very striking, but have you thought about streightening (distorting) the lines to make it even more of a regimented graphic?
I'm glad you waited for the right person to pass-by. Having a person in the picture adds some interest, but that he's carrying wood suggests a story in the picture, even if that's only in our heads.
Good capture.

another graphical shot this one is interesting because of this man on the right it gives an idea of the building size!

Very impressive graphic shot. Black & White really works great here and the placement of the person at the lower left of the frame adds that extra touch.

This is a great Photo, Kev! Great tones and wonderful composition. Yes, Izzet is right, and it is to a nod to him may I guess that he wanted you to get the fellow across the doorway...
