Photographer's Note
Leasowes Park was constructed by William Shenstone, a local poet. He wanted to get away from the formal gardens of the eighteenth century and wanted instead a naturalistic garden. It is full of streams, lakes, many trees and plenty of wildlife. The pandemic has meant that many people have discovered it for the first, even when living on its doorstep' We live close by and have made many visits. Even now it feels as though you have the place to yourself.

Hi David,in fact, many have discovered places close to home that they had never visited, and I am also taking holidays in Italy as opposed to before, and there are many interesting things to see, like this park, really unusual and different and certainly relaxing, great location to show the mist using the best light. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello David,
You handled the obviously tricky light very well. Bright and shady areas are equally carefully exposed. It's a very nice scenery that makes me think of a fairytale. Strange creatures may be found behind the trees. The bridge is well built and the most beautiful feature.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello David, a tricky one where there are deep shadows and very bright light. It looks even better in the large version where I can fully appreciate all the details.
The idea of a naturalistic garden was a success if this picture is anything to go by.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi David,
Pleasant view with a well balanced composition with stream, small bridge and water, difficult light contrast with these shadows, well captured, tfs.
