Photographer's Note

Fettercairn (Scottish Gaelic: Fothair Chrdain) is a small village in northeast Scotland. It is located northwest of Laurencekirk in Aberdeenshire.

If you are visiting Scotland, if you are driving with a caravan and if you have spotted a nice camping site near Alford... Please... Dont think that this lovely side road, Cairn OMount Road will be easy! Especially if you have forgotten to fill up the petrol! ;)

Cairn O' Mount (Scottish Gaelic: Crn Mhon) is a high mountain pass in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The place name is a survival of the ancient name for what are now the Grampian Mountains, earlier called "the Mounth".
