Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope the problems with the site have at last been corrected as I haven't been able to upload for over two days! It was like visiting a friend and finding the door locked!

Please click here, to see the larger Beta version.

I still have many interesting places to share with you, from my holiday in Brittany but thought I would just show you an interesting place, closer to home.

This is a beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales, a place called Bolton Abbey. It is a delightful place to visit, with ruins, fishing, nature walks, adventure walks and tearooms, where you can top up after all you exertions.

My photograph shows the River Wharfe, which has stepping stones as a challenge to the brave. To the less valiant, there is a bridge nearby. I waited to get a shot of people on the stones but no-one accepted the challenge!

Several minutes later, when I was on the other side of the river (via the bridge ... well I was carrying an expensive camera!!!) and I had an ice-cream in my hands, some girls attempted the crossing. I will add a quickly taken shot as a w/s.

In the background, you will see the ruins of Bolton Abbey.

I hope you enjoyed the photograph.
I wish you a very happy weekend, Bev :-)
