Photographer's Note
Salisbury Cathedral, formally known as the Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is an Anglican cathedral in Salisbury, England, and one of the leading examples of Early English architecture. The main body of the cathedral was completed in only 38 years, from 1220 to 1258.
The cathedral has the tallest church spire in the United Kingdom (123m/404 ft). Visitors can take the "Tower Tour" where the interior of the hollow spire, with its ancient wood scaffolding, can be viewed. The cathedral also has the largest cloister and the largest cathedral close in Britain (80 acres (320,000 m2)). It contains the world's oldest working clock (from AD 1386) and has the best surviving of the four original copies of Magna Carta (all four original copies are in England). In 2008, the cathedral celebrated the 750th anniversary of its consecration.

Hello Asa,
I had forgotten how beautiful the ornamentation on this cathedral was! It really is stunning and you have presented it to us with excellent sharpness.
I like how you have included people in your shot, for it makes the cathedral seem very used and friendly as well as helping us to understand the scale.
Did you take the 'Tower Tour'?
And, did you see the Magna Carta?
I have seen one of the copies in Lincoln Cathedral! It is a great link with history!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Asa.
This splendid monumental facade, a great cathedral that did not know, I love the profusion of sculptures on the façade, windows and other details, a delight to entertain in many photos of details, great POV captured with all these kids sitting on the grass, which put a pretty vital touch to the image.
An image to enjoy with its beautiful color, high brightness and perfect sharpness.
Very well done. I love it.
Have a happy day.
Best wishes.

Hi Asa,
It is interesting to look at the differences between the two churches you posted after each other.
The sober architecture so contrasting with the rich ornament of the Salisbury cathedral.

Hi Asa,
beautiful piece of architecture. I currently live in this country and it is actually great to see that there are still so many places which can genuinely surprise me and raise my interest. I have never seen this place before although the name sounds a bit familiar. May be just because of the supermarket chain with this name :)
Very attractive presentation, just as I like it,
