Photographer's Note
The Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh, with Carlton Hill in the background. The Tower is a monument to Nelson, and the Athenian acropilis is a victory monument to the end of the Napoleonic wars.

Hello Tony,
The Scottish Parliament building might be a very controversial edifice but this, I think, must be one of the best photographs which I have seen of it. And, from this viewpoint, it contrasts well with the well known structures atop Calton Hill.
The lighting, composition and detail are excellent and the colours are very Nikon by which I mean they appear very natural and not overdone. The lovely sky makes an excellent backdrop to the whole picture. It could perhaps just take a tad of extra sharpening, but that's really a matter of taste.
An excellent photograph, Tony. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Kind Regards,
John.
