Photographer's Note

The small red car ferry on the lower end of the River Clyde, is going over to Hunters Quay in the Argyll Cowal Peninsular. A 20 minute crossing, a very good fast service, ferries leave every 20 minutes.
Not such a good day for taking photos, rather dull.
A little snow on the hills, it is melting fast.

I like this picture with this rich green in foreground and the mountains with snow. The river seems a liquid silver. TFS

Hello Robert,
A very evocative winter image with good tonal contrasts between foreground and background. I also like the splash of colour offered by the ferry. Well chosen point of view making good use of the curving river bank at this point.
