Heather the weather. That's the Scots lassie Heather Reid from the BBC Weather centre.Born in Paisley and educated at Edinburgh University. Interestingly Hearher took a Masters in image processing.

Heather Mills McCartney, introducing herself on her website as a model, TV presenter and activist known for her notorious accident with a police motorcycle that caused her to have her leg amputated.

Stags breath liqueur - yes honestly! made from a "miraculous" blend which includes Speyside whiskies and fermented heather honey-comb.
Never quite got around to looking up the botanical informaton on heather, the iconic plant of Scotland.But you can forgive me for being completely side-tracked by the stags breath! Now, if you are considering a gift, you know what to send me!
Oh, this is the Mull of Galloway by the way and you can just see Luce Bay.And the building houses the visitor centre close to the lighthouse( already uploaded a picture of the lighthouse).

Hi, Bev.

Another great picture from the Mull of Galloway. The sky and the colours in the heather are superb and - that horizon is dead straight! A lovely shot showing freedom, space - I can almost smell the distant sea and feel the heather beneath my feet.

The Latin for heather is Erica - another girl's name.

Oh, Bev,
this is beautiful. I love the contrasts in the heather in the foreground, the stark white of the house and that lovely blue sky. The composition is wonderful with the house in a perfect spot overlooking such a great view. Ever so nicely done! Warmest regards,
