Photographer's Note
A short ferry ride away from the west coast of Scotland, the isle of Bute is one of more than 800 Scottish Islands. Ettrick bay provides a great location for the landscape photographer with [if lucky] views of snow covered mountains in the distance. This shot was taken on a quiet morning this April, the weather was splendid over the weekend and visibility was good but not excellent.

Hi Manoj,
you had a luck to be there during such a wonderful moment to take this image with all these warm and unique tones and light! Like it a lot. A magical scene! Very well done.

Hi Manoj,
How are you? I hope that you are well!
This picture reminds me that I really must do some travelling to the Scottish islands. I am sure that photographic opportunities there must be wonderful.
Your exif data suggest that this picture was taken early in the morning and with a long exposure, presumably using a tripod. The light is just delicious and the soft colours in the sky are delightful. The picture is almost monochrome but with some very lovely and subtle colours coming through in the gorgeous sky, the reflections on the calm water and the little pebbles on the beach.
A beautifully composed and restful photograph with lovely muted colours, perfect light and exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.
P.S. I see that you've acquired the Tamron 17 - 50mm f/2.8 - it's a cracking lens, isn't it? Super sharp and f/2.8 throughout the whole range.
