Hello David - Your series on Broadway really interests me. I grew up in the area and many of my forebears were from the village. This shot reminds me very much of my younger days. Flowers was the brewer whose products could be found in all the pubs in the area. Brewed in Stratford-upon-Avon since 1831 by the end of the 19th century, Flowers was the largest employer in Stratford. This shot is lovely, the Cotswold stone glows in the sunshine under a heavy sky. A distinctive row of houses so typical of the area and a shot that brings back many good memories for me.
