Sunset at Castle Hill, a photo from West Yorkshire, England

Photographer's Note

This is another photo of Castle Hill... I submitted a similar one a few days ago, the general consensus is that it was too saturated. I'm interested to see what people think of this one... still very saturated but I think looks a little more natural. If people don't like it, I'll post one with less vivid colours.
Taken with a circular polariser.

It is awesome ! I always liked castles, and I liked sunset... That's a winner combo !

The sky going from red to blue is unbelivable !

My only correction would be to clone out the antennas on the top of the tower.

I love this shot! The colours are absolutely stunning and you composition great. The sky and light is beautiful. Excellent details and sharpness. A magical place, looks like it taken from a fairytale.

I find it beautiful. Very saturate with a nice contrast between left part and right part of the photo. Nice lighting on the castle. Nice!

Bob, I prefer this shot as the other one you posted few days ago. First, I prefere the horizontal framing, I thing that it gives a more perspective view.
About the colors, they are great indeed. The clouds are greatly managed and the orange color and the right part is terrific.
How can you have such result ? With a filter?

The colors are so unreal that they could very well be real! :)
I missed the first posting and I think I like this one better, the horizontal composition giving more room to the clouds. Colors and light are beautiful, especially on the clouds and tower. It feels like a set for a fantasy movie (quite a "lord of the rings" atmosphere! :).

Wonderful picture and excellent composition with great colours and light! It is very impressive shot.

I like lighting on the castle and colours clouds. Excellent details and sharpness. A magical place, looks like it taken from a fairy story.

Where are the warriors ? it looks like a XXVII th century war scene, without the soldiers but with a fire burning in the background. One could image a lot of stories just looking at this pic.
Very good postprocessing job, I can't imagine that these colors are in reliaty as saturated as shown. Nevertheless there is something very smooth about it that I like a lot.
It sure makes a stunning and beautiful image.

As many have already said, the colours are wonderful. The tower reminds me of scenes from Lord of the Rings.

I think that you should keep the colors as they are. I like it a lot! All colors of the rainbow are there! Only a rainbow missing :)

il y a pas mal de photos impressionnates dans ta gallerie et celle-ci me plait vraiment beaucoup.
Les couleurs sont fortes, les jeux de lumiиres puissants.
Pas de dйfauts dans le cadrage et la mise au point.
