Taken yesterday evening at St Marys Lighthouse, the sunset was out to the left reflecting brilliantly from the rocks and lighthouse, the light really was amazing!

A well framed image with good foreground interest, the reflected light on the rock making it really stand out and helps you into the image.

Hi Nick,
My wife is from Whitley Bay and we both really enjoyed your stunning image. What great light. One little nitpick: your focus on the lighthouse is just not quite as sharp as it could be. The fabulous rock in the foreground is beautifully sharp. Depth of field in low light - always a problem. Thanks for the posting.

beautiful mystical image, the light in this realyl is incredible and shows the lighthouse off perfectly. I love the depth you have achieved with the inclusion of the sea and the rocks in the foreground!
