Photographer's Note
This a complete reshoot of the picture because of the banner hanging in the right of the original and I felt it was better to reshoot rather than clone out. the camera settings for this one were F2.0 at 1/15th sec still hand held.treament was pretty much the same as the original.
you may of seen this the other day when I mistakenly posted it normally instead of reposting it so I removed it and am now doing it properly, hope you all like the changes
This is a definate departure from my norm, but I felt that it was crying out for a picture.
It is an Old hot water radiator, it was used to help heat a big open work shop, in what is called the "Lacemarket" area of Nottingham.Back in the 1900`s it was an area of major lace manifacture in large brick and stone buildings, it became very run-down over the years. recently it has been revamped and has become the centre for textile & cloths design and other bits of cultural life. this radiator is still in its original building ,but it is now an arts college, and tuesday night I attend a PS course and keep see it stood in the centre of an upstairs landing.
The shot is hand held and by available light.
other adjustments were a crop at 600dpi X 28.22cm X 12cm.

Wow! Amazing composition! The radiator attracts the eye and the paintings on the wall make the whole photo intriguing... A very well done detour from your nature scenes!

So much better than the original shot. I just love the improbable interaction of the pictures in the background and dull radiator in the foreground. Perfect framing.

Excellent composition, an interesting idea of putting things together. For me, this picture is far more interesting than a "gorgeous" sunset. Your ability to see beauty of simple things is the most valuable quality for photographer.
