This is a sequel to the wave shot I posted yesterday to give people an idea of the scene after the wave had hit the sea defences, hope you like it.

hello irene,

truly tranquil shot compared with your previous "stormy" posting! i like how the gray image is broken only by the light blue patch on the sky, conveying hope :) your camera lens seems to have caught some of the waves' splashes as evidenced by the blurred spots near the center of the photo, which makes your image all the more realistic!

This is a good follow up to your last shot, a great contrast between the rough sea and the relatively calm looking sky.

This looks deceptively placid after the previous post. What people probably don't realise the sea shouldn't be there on this side of the wall. Did the police turn you back?

It is beautiful, Irene, I liked the first one too. I appreciate your brave soul! :) I like to watch the waves very much too and always try to take pictures of them. Did not succeed that well yet... ;) I really like the scene. Irina

Beautiful dynamic image Irene, the feeling of cold and of the wave force is really great and the addiction of the beautiful and cloudy sky is fine and good, compliments.

Blimey, you've been busy lately Irene! Not been on TE much lately and then found all these posts from you after a quiet spell. This one caught my eye first from the thumbnail and it is a super capture of the stormy seafront. I hope you didn't take unnecessary risks to get it though!
