Photographer's Note

The hill in the distance is Pendle hill in Lancashire, this was taken from Airdale in Yorkshire, Pendle is famous for its witch trials in the 17 century when 19 women where hung for being whitches, the hill is 1827 feet high varies in size from 0ne to three miles and there are breathtaking views across to the Yorkshire Dales, Forrest of Bowland and on clear days the Lake Districk in Cumbria,The historical relevance of Pendle Hill gives it a bleak and eerie quality and i have tried to capture that mood in my photo.
