Photographer's Note

This was around 10 pm on the widest street in the fishing village of Staithes, near Whitby. With no traffic, and no people about (it was freezing), the only sound was the lapping of waves in the harbour behind me.

I tried out the sepia setting on my Kodak to emphasise the Victorian feel of the place. And no tripod! (Do check when buying a camera that it has somewhere to screw a tripod into!)
