She is Guy's spotting, old men's technique....
A bit grainy for ISO 200! did you add some grain to it afterwards? Anyway, it fits well for an antique look, as fit the event.
Well set against a non obstrusive background, and she is not centered.
She really looks pensive.

Very nice work on this photo with a good composition and DOF. This is more than a portrait because this is the street and also I love here the black and white.

this one cries for a vertical format, robert!

i find that vast empty area on her left hand side being pretty redundant and in the same time - i miss the rest of the white thing which you lifted to the level of the title for this image...

Maybe you can't read her expression but she cares enough to have spent the night sleeping with pin-curls in her hair. Another great catch

Hi Robert,
Your fabulous series of this memorial day continues to grow without lowering the quality. A very expressive portrait, which is a bit surprising considering that we can't see one of the most expressive elements of the human face, the eyes.
