Photographer's Note
Taken in East Anglia. Although it's only April the temperature is 23C with no rain for the whole month. Each year the planting of Rapeseed crop increases giving a vivid yellow landscape

Hello John,
Many pictures of rapeseed on TE these days. But this one strikes me because of its good composition and the interesting contrast between yellow and green. The pattern of the fields creates depth and the house in the background makes for a nice reddish touch.
As to the absence of rain, we have the same problem in Belgium: 35 days without a drop!
TFS & kind regards,
Erik

Hi John,
A gorgeous Spring view. Besides the colours, I also like all those layers of the terrain and the house, which is very well positioned visually. I would prefer the sky less grey, but it isn't really bad and it's just a detail.
Regards, José.

This shot sums up a lot of East Anglia during the summer, broads and broads of yellow fields. I do like the composition as well, good depth of field (excuse the pun).
Thanks for sharing, along with all your other shots of locations I've been recognising.
