Hello Pierre,
Old style uniform of the soldiers, do not remember seeing such appearence on my first visit on 10/1978. Special event maybe?
But, the crowd alongside was the usual sight.

Good quality for a 1980 analogue film shot. I like the sidelight from the left throwing long shadows. Good dof too. Tfs!

This is a big parade that you have photographed several times. I wonder if it was a special event but not sure what it would be in October.
Never mind, it is a fine journalistic record and must have been an interesting photographic opportunity for you.
