Photographer's Note
Kirkstone Pass, English Lake District, UK.
This is the highest (1489 feet) road pass in the Lake District connecting Ambleside in the Rothay Valley to Patterdale in the Ullswater Valley. The road is very winding and has splendid views as it decends towards Brothers Water in the far back. When I got out of the car, heavy clouds/fog were filling the sky over the pass almost covering the views so I had little time to take this shot.

This is WONDERFUL!! The POV is soooo good; it just keeps drawing the eye further and further into the landscape. Great colors, DOF, framing, nice dramatic sky. WOW. I am in awe. Thank you, Shelly

Hi Eyal,
I know the Lake District well and know the weather conditions there can change in an instant. It also goes to prove that bright sunlight is not always needed for a good picture. This one is clear, sharp and colourful and well worth the risk of a soaking! I like the way you have included the little stream, which draws the eye nicely into the distance where the mountains are waiting. Super shot, well shown. All the best, Vicky

Great job showing interesting objects near, middle, and far. From the colorful grass and stream, to the sloping hills/mountains, to the moody clouds. It feels like a water slide as your eye follows the stream through the hills to the lake (pool) beyond.

Hi Eyal,
I like your wonderfull natureshot. The scene is well chosen. The winding runnel leading the eye down the valley to the lake (?) in the background. Very nice and well captured. The sky is really very dramatic and I wonder if you did use a filter to stress this ?

Hi Eyal, The fabulous landscape is highlighted by a moody sky. I notice more than a few dust spots that need removing, try healing brush in PP. Well done..
