Hi Bernarda,
This has a solemn feeling, something gritty about the B&W, I sense a journey here. The focus may not be right on the man, but I kind of like that he is blurred, and the puddles are clear.

Hello Bernarda,
A very good picture from rural Ukraine. The progress of the big cities is far away among these muddy roads, where not much seems to have improved since the Soviet days. The water-filled potholes provide a lot of reflections and the road runs on a nice diagonal. The man has a tough job walking with his overloaded bike, but I guess he is used to it. Good quality b&w.

hi bernarda,
this journey looks to be a struggle for this old man, as his expression suggests. the puddles in the broken road, and the bags weighing down his bike all suggest elements of hardship. this is further emphasised by your use of a black and white format and presentation. an excellent image portraying daily life.

Hi Bernarda

this man feels exhausted, pushing his bike full of stuff he bought and coming back home on this decrepit path. this feeling is enhanced by the B&W mood. A remark: the sharpness is not on the man, but on the fence and puddle behind him.
