Photographer's Note

Recently I've been rather busy and haven't been able to find time for TE. I miss uploading photos and writing critiques. I don't have any new photos, so this is just to say "hi, I'm OK, not dead (at least yet)" and to wish happy birthday to my dear friend Korkut. This was taken at the courtyard of Lenzburg castle after a tiring climb and a long tour of the King Arthur exhibition. I rotated the image 180 degrees, cropped a bit and increased midtone contrast.

Son zamanlarda TE'ye hic vakit ayiramaz oldum. Yeni fotograf da cekmedim. Bu fotografi nerelerdesin diye soranlara merhaba, yasiyorum, hayattayim, merak etmeyin demek ve sevgili dostum Korkut'un dogumgununu kutlamak icin yukledim. Lenzburg kalesinin avlusunda cekildi. Biraz yanlardan kirptim, 180 derece cevirdim, midtone kontrasti arttirdim.

37... kendini genз sanan orta yaşlılardanım ben de son birkaз yıldır... alışıyorum yavaş yavaş... dankeşцn mayne liğbe froyndin...
suda yansıyan yapraklarla masalsı bir gцkyьzь зıkmış ortaya, ben beğendim bu kareyi зok... yanlız iki saattir o sarı şeyin ne olduğunu anlamaya зalışarak зıldırıyorum...

Merhaba Fьsun,

If this an actual reflection in a puddle of water, I would recommend keeping it without rotating it 180°, but showing a little of the surrounding area around the puddle. In my new book about to be released by the National Geographic, the photo editor has selected a photograph of the bell tower of the Duomo in Florence. The tower appears upside down, and it becomes a powerful technique to make the viewer concentrate harder to understand the image. Excellent colors, remarkable reflection.
