Valais Panorama, a photo from Valais, West

Hello,

I want to share with friends and curious on TE, an image of the place where I live. It is the canton of Valais, a long and narrow valley in the Alps.

I captured this picture from the top of Mont Rouge (2480 m.), the day after my return from Sicily. The week before, it had rained a lot, so the vegetation is bright green. (See in Google Maps/Earth)

The Valais region is divided into lowland and mountain, and the horizon follows the mountain ridges.

Short description:

The snow that you see on the highest mountain is the Diablerets Glacier (3100 m.).

In the plain, you can see on the right, the track of the aerodrome of Sion, the capital. Then to the left, the villages of Conthey, Vйtroz and Ardon.

And in the bottom right corner, there are the laces of the road to the resort of Veysonnaz.

Ciao Adriano,
mi aspettavo di vedere una foto della Sicilia, ma resto incantato davanti a questa per bellezza di luogo e magia del momento, cui il cielo и un grande protagonista.
Bella vista dall'alto su Valais.
Ottima la nitidezza che permette di ammirare ogni dettaglio, anche il piщ piccolo.

Hello Adriano,
the composition appears perfect :) And it's a very beautiful landscape (I've always been fascinated by the Swiss mountains!)
The sky looks very dynamic because of the cloud pattern :)
What amazes me a little bit is the saturation of the colours of this image :) ..because of the polarizer?

It must be paradise to live there. Walks around these mountains, trekking to his ways ... have nature so close (something that I don't enjoy in my city and I would like)

Et comment que j'apprйcie ce panoramo: c est un des coins du Valais que je connais le mieux pour y avoir logй quelques jours mais n'ai pas eu la chance de le voir а partir d'un point de vue aussi exceptionnel.Une hyper qualitй de mise au point et de capture des lumiиres.Un ciel qui vaut bien tout ce qu'il surplombe.

Anche tu come cieli polarizzati non scherzi!
Vabbи qui siamo in alta montagna ed escono cosм anche senza il polarizzatore! (:-)
In questa valle ci sono passato molte volte in auto, andando nel Bernen Oberland per le vacanze estive, ma non l'ho mai vista cosм dall'alto. Nelle Diableret invece ci sono salito due volte... ma in funivia!
molto bella, per tutti gli appassionati di montagna.
La chiarezza и da schianto, ma ricordo che qui spesso l'aria и molto tersa.

Un panorama des plus beaux, la vue est trиs jolie sur la vallйe, les montagnes, le ciel ne laisse pas indiffйrent tout comme les couleurs et bravo pour le POV
