Photographer's Note

On one of my walks on Sdermalm island in Stockholm I saw these persons enjoying the afternoon sun in the garden of this nice house from the 1790's. The view was partly obscured by trees, but I managed to find a gap between branches.

This is one of several old mansions from the 17th and 18th centuries still remaining in central Stockholm, most of them on Sdermalm. They were usually built as summer residences of rich families of the aristocracy. Those remaining today are in most cases used as offices, or they can be rented for conferences or parties, as is the case with this one.

In the WS is a photo I borrowed from the internet, showing the entire mansion from above.
