Cafй Misteln, a photo from Uppland, Svealand

A couple of days ago Gert and Paul uploaded shots from Stortorget of Stockholm. I checked out if I could contribute the theme. This one is Cafй Misteln and it is in the green house on the left on the two Stortorget views. People were happy to sit outside where the temperature was barely above zero. Christmas market was already there in late November, but it wasn't as hectic as it probably got closer to Christmas.

Hello Kari,
But for the cobbled stones I would have taken this for a cosy interior. The low light and the dark colours create a very nice atmosphere. You did well to expose it so nicely.

Hello Kari,
I didn't drink anything in the green house.
But in the red :)
Swedes and Finns are, of course, polar bears and temperatures just above freezing don't convince them to stay indoors yet :)
It does look very cozy with festive lighting already in November.

Hello Kari,

I would need gloves outside. Good sharpness and the Christmas decorations add a festive mood. I might have brightened the image slightly. Tfs!

I like this new Stortorget theme on TE. :-)
Great low light image, it carries resemblance to Dutch masters' paintings. You managed well what must have been challenging lighting.

I just love photos like this, they have so much atmosphere.
You have captured it so well, the lighting is perfect.
I particularly like the small child on the left looking up at something that has caught their attention.
This image could certainly tell many stories.

Quite a moody low key capture despite faint light and the evident cold weather that reminds me a cozy gathering of wealthy people in a chic restaurant, as seen in the movies!
The most happy character could be the little girl eating jelly beans directly from the candy wrapper!

A very nice image of this cafe in the night time...The ambience of this place is so soothing and attracting...Infact the people seem to be enjoying so much irrespective of the temperature outside including the kids....Very good light management by you .....Well done
