This is from the Kingґs Park in central Gothenburg, some days ago. Today we are expecting a storm coming in from the North Sea and all leaves are likely to blow away.

Hello Gunnar
This is something we miss in India, which is a country of evergreen vegetation. As I see from the pictures posted in various sites, this year Autumn has come in full bloom, offering the red and gold colours in all majestic beauty!
This is one such picture...Like the close-up composition with the heavy tree trunks creating a graphic effect, yet the stars of the show have to be the leaves wearing their autumnal coats...beautiful!

Beautiful mix of autumn colours even without sunshine visible. Also ground has that carpet of reddish foliage. And those tree trunks have quite special texture too.
This season was quite colourful in Tampere too, sadly it is all over now.

One word.... Superb. I love this Gunnar. The close crop and composition show the majesty of the group of trees so well. The trunks look strong and formidable as they stand on the slight rise of ground. The leaf litter and colourful canopy speak of the season convincingly. A well considered and beautiful composition. it is looking like a bokeh of flowers though there is no flower in it. Great sharp presentation with those colourful leafs, and excellent contrast created by the dark sheds of the tree stems. Great depth. Clarity of the image is outstanding. Another superb one. Tfs.

Autumn has to be Nature's frolic before the austerity of winter. This is just a riot of colour which you have artistically composed to guide us through, effortlessly.
I love how the main tree stands centrally, almost as a welcome, the others, leaning out playfully to be noticed!
You have a fine vertical thirds composition: a medley of leaves, the upright, lichen encrusted trunks and the red, rumpled carpet of fallen leaves. An eye-catching combination.

il tema и attuale e l'hai sviluppato molto bene sia per i bellissimi colori delle foglie che spaziano dal verde al rosso con una infinita serie di varianti e per la inquietante presenza dei tronchi che per un effetto ottico, probabilmnente dovuto all'uso del tele, appaiono molto piщ vicini gli uni agli altri creando un effetto di distacco netto tra il suolo e le foglie ancora attaccate ai rami.
Indovinata la composizione nel formato quadrato.

Ah ha, so this is who the picture belongs to! I noticed this yesterday and regrettably let it get by me. What a vivid display of Autumn colors, this is a beauty! I particularly like how it it's framed in layers...the top is bright and colorful, the middle section dark and contrasted, and the "floor" is more rustic with deeper tones. The layering and subdued colors in the background make this even more effective, great depth into the image. I imagine this is a delightful place for a walk. Have a great day ahead.

Love the lens barrel distortion here of the central tree perfectly straight but the trees at far right especially, leaning outwards at an angle,and to a lesser extent on the far left. Good sharpness & graphism with wonderful Fall colors of gold green and red. Tfs!

you hardly need another critique for this one as you have had so many. Both as a thumbnail and the larger image this looks like a painting. The contrast of the thick dark trunks and the bright autumnal leaves is just so attractive. Its dof makes the trees in the bg seems to have been taken straight from an impressionist painting. Lovely!

It's a shame that the autumn colors are gone so quickly. I like the mix of red, orange, and yellow in this photo, and it focuses only on the trees and leaves. I like that there is one large tree in the foreground, but all of the tree trunks have a hint of green moss growing on them, adding another splash of color to the scene. Every season has its own magic. Now we have moved from this colorful palette to the white snow and holiday lights...

I love these massive dark tree trunks holding up a halo of colorful leaves, the scene reminds me of my own home in the southern highlands of the Appalachian mountains.
