I just have to take as much pohotos as I can when those houses still are standing soon they are nothing more than ashes and an important part of our culture history is gone.

Hej Anders,
There must be an interesting history behind this house, who was the owner, why was it abandoned? Is there no real estate agent who would like to sell it; "Something for the handy man..."... Well, there are still windows to protect the interior, so it canґt be that bad. What about the surroundings, is it beautifully situated?

Yes indeed on the map the house is visible very well. But why is only one house and not near other houses. What does this house in this area.

I agree with you completely and each summer race around snapping picture of all the old buildings I can. I always wonder about the people who lived there. Nice composition and detail. TFS

Hej,
I have been rather "off TE" and very much "on TT" for a while, working all through Easter so I have a lot of catching up to do. In my imagination Sцrmland was full of wealthy farms on fertile grounds and houses on high demand because of the closeness to Stockholm. This place tells a different story, looking more like Vдsterbotten, or western Vдrmland where I grew up. Or maybe the little house on the prairie.

Hej Anders,
it's such a pity when houses "with history" have to "die". Sometimes I think that if old houses could talk they could say a lot of interesting things.

this photo has a very surrealistic, almost surreal touch to it. The subdued colors, the rather low pov enhances the intriguing character of this composition.
