Photographer's Note
Just a glimpse from a street corner on Södermalm island in Stockholm.
I don't know what was going on here, but I get an impression the lady in the wheelchair was studying the street signs trying to figure out if she was allowed to roll into the pedestrian street.
I had mainly wanted to take some photos of such pots filled with bright red flowers, which were placed at every street corner in this area. But I needed someone/something to complement the view, so when this lady appeared I found the right moment.
I think she eventually decided to take another route. Someone who didn't hesitate to use the restricted zone is seen in the WS.
Map: view will show you this place.

Two pictures from same corner, raised the debate we confront daily in any big city, Gert.
the flowers on the entrance added a wonderful decoration to this alley.
Have a nice new day,

Hi Gert,
I would be suprised if the sign banning cars and motorcycle applies to the person in a wheelchair. The point pf vire is showing the details of the plower pots and of the building. The light is giving good colors rnedering. Have a nice day.

gert
in my town the boys are ever using squares and sidewalks like ways for the bikes, at same time the pedestrians are ever using the streets as sidewalks. we are a free people! hahaha.
nice these two views, the flowers added a special beauty to hard urban landscape.
take care

Hello Gert, of the two, I think that the lady in the wheelchair had more right to be on this particular street. Your timing was impeccable, as she is obviously looking to decide just which way to go.
The bright red flowers frame her perfectly, and being red immediately draw our eyes into the scene.
Kind regards, Jean

Hej Gert,

Hello Gert,
It would seem unfair to me if the lady in the wheelchair were not allowed to enter the street. But perhaps she is far more concerned with the well-being of her fellow man in traffic than most people.
In Belgium, people constantly point out the danger that cyclists run in places where there is motorized traffic. On the other hand, I regularly experience that cyclists and users of kick bikes behave like hells angels on hiking trails in nature.
The colour of the facade behind is so typical for Stockholm and contrasts well with the blue sky.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Gert, maybe the man in the WS wasn't able to understand the signals, considering the bike and how he was dressed, he was definitely a little crazy .... but certainly funny. Two beautiful photos, even the lady with the motor chair very common in Italy among the elderly gave a decisive touch and in any case the red flower pots are really beautiful. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hi Gert
I would think that it would be legal for her to take her "vehicle" up that street but less so for the WS bike rider. A good street photo with the red flowers neatly framing the wheel chair lady.
cheers

Hello Gert, I do not think that the lady considers if she has the right to go or not, but it is an interesting question and clever for the title and note. The guy on the big bike has no right to go in my opinion, but he doesn't care. Excellent observation, nice photo. Beautiful flowers.
Have a nice SUMMER day

Hej Gert
A well observed and timed capture of the wheelchair bound woman observing the road rules. Good sharpness and the road adds a built in grey scale! Tfs!

Dear Gert,
This photo is a simple, yet interesting one mainly to the made up story you delivered for us. Soon I will reply with a recent photo of mine, portraying an older lady in a similar chair next to her daughter who (as I heard) tried to persuade her to remove the mask, when she is open-air.
Best Wishes,
Gy
PS: Thank you very much for your kind words on my latest photo.

Hello Gert
Beautiful view of this street and flowers. The architecture in the background acts like a canvas, and the woman completes the canvas. Clarity and lighting done well. Thanks for sharing

Hi Gert.
A curious photograph with the lady looking towards the street, perhaps what she was doing was admiring the beautiful flower pots, because I don't think she thought that the wheelchair was not appropriate for a pedestrian street, because what she walks with is her chair, on the contrary the bike maybe if it broke the rules.
A fantastic photo, with beautiful natural colors, very good lighting and excellent sharpness.
Very well done. I'm lovin 'it.
Enjoy the weekend.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Gert,
Of course, she is a pedestrian. Which heartless person would deny her access to where only people are allowed? If this were in the US, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) would give her the right to enter.
Nice daily life photos showing one cautious lady and one thoughtless man. The fellow should have "walked" his tricycle. (Walking a bike means getting off of it and pushing it in pedestrian areas, a privilege car drivers cannot enjoy.)
I like the composition of the main entry with the lady right in the middle of two colorful flower pots.
Regards,
MT
